Estrella Water Park

Today Jenni's parents were so gracious to open up their home to our family and not only provided us with a wonderful meal but they took us to their community water park which is only open to residents and guests. The kids had so much fun playing in the water. Gianni went on the "big boy waterslide" at least 100 times. One week of swimming classes has made such a difference and his confidence is through the roof! Sometimes his confidence scares me a little.

Carmen spent time with her man "Dan the man". As they sat on the towel sharing fishy crackers Dan looked over and said "Carmen, you my girlfriend?" Carmen shook her head. Dan turned to his mommy and said, "Mommy, she said yes!" So cute.


Gianni was so confident on the slide that I had to catch it on video. Video....can you believe it? First I am blogging and now I figured out how to put video on here! Soon I might get one of them fancy twitter page things : )

Wet n Wild

Gianni started swimming lessons this week. It went really well. He is very comfortable in the water and even said to me at the end of the week, "mommy, I will keep going to class but I think I know how to swim now!" It was very exciting.

While Gianni takes his lessons, Miss Carmen plays in the baby pool and has become even more adventurous in the water. She loves water: spinklers, slip n slide, swimming, and the tub! She got her first little "bikini" and that is as short of a top as she will ever have! WOW, Look at how long her hair is when it is wet!

Slippin and Slidin

To celebrate the end of the school year, all of the girls and their kids came over for a little gathering in our backyard. The kids had so much fun on the slip and slide while the adults hung out around the fire. It was a perfect way to kick off the summer!
